Bud Shootout!
Well, when Toyota wins their first race, and we all know that WILL happen, I'm turning the channel when NASCAR races come on. And, from what I hear I won't be alone. I've been a fan since the 60's, but that's about ready to stop soon. I think money-hungry NASCAR has pulled a real boner on this one. Time will tell if unsold-out races, fewer viewers and hard-to-come-by sponsors prove me right.

I used to like Tony Stewart, however now I wish him nothing but bad luck this entire season for sellin out.........yeah I know that his Boss sold out first, but he followed right up the money trail with him!........If you listen to the NASCAR station on Sirius radio, they are talkin about the TACO like it has been around as long as a Ford, GM, or Chrysler product, makes my stomach turn.........Dale Sr., is probably saying, "I left that sport at the right time".........I now root for anybody who can keep the Taco Cars out of winners circle..........It would be great to see all that $$$, Taco spent for another winless season.........
I used to be a huge NASCAR fan, not so much anymore. I don't quite understand calling Toyota's "Tacos". The Fusion is actually manufactured in Mexico, home of the taco while the Camry is made in the US
I have both a Ford and a Toyota in my garage. Had to replace the second Ford with something that was more reliable - 2 transmissions in 4 years and about a dozen recalls on the Ford.
With the Car or Tomorrow I think people are cheering more for drivers than they are manufacturers. I will be rooting for Tony to get put in the wall because he is and always has been a jerk, not because his car owner switched manufacturers.

Say what you will about the new cars.
But the fact that Gordon finished a race at Daytona in Fourth driving the car he WON at Darlington with last year is pretty damn amazing.
Blaney is a real threat to win next Sunday, as are all three of the Gibbs cars.
I don't understand the "I won't watch NASCAR because there are Toyotas running now" thought process. makes no sense to me.

I've been a believer in the C.O.T. since it first race last year at Bristol. It may not be very pretty, but the racing is world's better.
It would please me to no end to see a Toyota in Gatorade Victory Lane next Sunday.
