its a different skill and there is skill involved, I'm not saying its harder

p.s. I am not talking drag racing a slug like an F150 running 17second 1/4's on street tires either

Me either. I drag race as well as race SCCA and can say SCCA is much harder.

If you hopped in an NHRA Top Fuel Dragster untrained you would have very high chances of death right off the bat.

Those G's are crazy, if you're not trained properly to handle them you could black out almost instantly. Drag racing regular cars like Mustangs etc. is a joke compared to this.

I thought a Tundra could produce those numbers with nothing but a set of flowmasters and a CAI?

No, your're thinking of a Honda with a VTEC, a big wing and some NOS stickers. Oh yea and dont forget the neon lights add another 1000hp.

You are driving the average $140,000 Lingenfelter twin-turbo powered Corvette Z06. Over a mile up the road, a Top Fuel dragster is staged and ready to launch down a quarter-mile strip as you pass. You have the advantage of a flying start. You run the 'Vette hard up through the gears and blast across the starting line and pass the dragster at an honest 200 MPH. The 'tree' goes green for both of you at that moment. The dragster launches and starts after you. You keep your foot down hard, but you hear an incredibly brutal whine that sears your eardrums and within 3 seconds the dragster catches and passes you. He beats you to the finish line, a quarter-mile away from where you just passed him. Think about it - from a standing start, the dragster had spotted you 200 MPH and not only caught, but nearly blasted you off the road when he passed you within a mere 1,320 foot long race!

That's acceleration!
At 200mph the corvette would cover the 1/4 mile in 4.5 seconds. Assuming a record run of 4.428 then the corvette would lose by 34 feet. Anything less than a perfect run and the corvette would win.

This is actually much more interesting

Farts are created mostly by E. coli.

On the average a fart is composed of about 59% nitrogen, 21% hydrogen, 9% carbon dioxide, 7% methane, and 4% oxygen. Less than 1% is what makes them stink.

The temperature of a fart at time of creation is 98.6 degrees Fahrenheit.

Farts have been clocked at a speed of 10 feet per second.

A person produces about half a liter of farts a day.

Although they won't admit it, women fart as much as men.

Termites are the largest producers of farts.

Farts are flammable.

The word "fart" comes from the Old English "feortan" (meaning "to break wind").

Excess gas in the intestinal is medically termed "flatulence."
