I froze some beers one august day when it was 100 outside.

I added too much salt too the cooler and they all froze solid.

I had to stick them on the dash of my buddy's pickup with the defrogger on high to fix that problem.

I've thawed frozen beer a few times by setting it directly on my idling engine. Works pretty well.

Any reason, other than personal preference, for the temperature range you suggested? It's the first I have heard of this and I am an acoholic. I am also getting back into some light brewing and would be interested to know

taste buds dont work as well when the sample is super hot or super cold. for crappy "lets get drunk" beer I recommend around 40f for everyting else 50f is about right, some beeris best warmer stil at 65f

Ya you've got me there. I like good beer like you are talking about styxnpicks. and yes it is best a little warmer.

but i stock my fridge with natty light or bud light mostly just because it's cheap. I have a feeling you have a nasty look on your face right now after reading that.

You ain't a beer drinker, you're a beer snob.

Rogue makes a chocolate stout that a friend recommended.... yuck!

Young's Double Chocolate Stout is twice as good for half the price.

It looks like small cracks in the bottle from the beer expanding. I left one in the freezer too long because I was trying to get it to superfreeze (really cool, search for "beer superfreeze" on youtube or just watch this. How it works is explained in the info: http://youtube.com/watch?v=n_H5ZIoZSBo).

Needless to say I forgot it in there and the next day I opened the freezer and green Heiniken glass shards fell out along with some beer, then there was frozen beer plastered all over the freezer walls. Huge pain in the *** to clean...
