There are 30 other sections on this site to talk about trucks.... This is the General Discussion forum, not the Gereral Truck Discussion forum. If you don't like politics or religion or funny videos or pictures of vacations then YOU NEED TO GO TO ANOTHER SITE. Noone came to your house and held you hostage till you read the Gen Discussion section. You're obviously reading it... Stop reading threads that are about topics you don't like. I don't like threads about alcohol because I don't drink... so if that ever comes up I WON'T READ IT! It's a novel idea I know.

The biggest polluters (China, India) aren't even doing anything about their contribution to so called global warming. I think so what, it's going to happen no matter what, but don't make walk to work.

I blame the sun. But then again I went to public school and have noticed that the weather changes and we get our heat from the large bright orb in the sky. Additionally, I've never seen a weatherman that's been able to predict with any accuracy or consistency what the weather will be like a week... much less next year or in 100 years.

I recall the '70s and '80 when we were all headed for another ice-age. However, I'm not old enough to remember when the earth was flat, but it seems to me that this is all yet another fallacy from the naive geocentric and anthropocentric flat-earth-sky-is-falling crowd.

Government and organized religion are one in the same. They use guilt as a means to tax you and control your behavior.

We live in a heliocentric solar system and that's not changing anytime soon. Personally, it's a little too cold anyway. Enjoy the ride.

I hate to break it to you, but the USA is the Worlds Largest Polluter..

China is "expected" to overtake the US in pollution within the next 10 years...

Texas is the Worlds 7th largest Polluter...

Are you talking pollution or green house gases? Two different things, pollution does not "cause" global warming, green house gases do (if you believe that man is causing it)

Carbon dioxide and other air pollution that is collecting in the atmosphere like a thickening blanket, trapping the sun's heat and causing the planet to warm up. Coal-burning power plants are the largest U.S. source of carbon dioxide pollution -- they produce 2.5 billion tons every year. Automobiles, the second largest source, create nearly 1.5 billion tons of CO2 annually.

And how about livestock? Methane is one of the worst green house gasses. Kind of puts things in perspective. . . Before European settlers came to North America and killed most of them off, there were millions of buffalo running around farting and burping, yet there wasn't any global warming back then.

Everyone is freaking out about the Earth going through it's cycle?! LoL. Does anyone not think that maybe we're still coming out of the last Ice Age, therefore the planet is warming up?

Oh, and the biggest contributors to greenhouse gases are the damn cows. GD methane flatulating heffers. But we're not gonna stop eating steaks, now are we!?

Cowboy, You gave me an idea. I am going to buy a cow, put her in the back of my Supercrew, put a hose up it's butt, revamp the 5.4 to run on methane. Every time it burps or farts I can drive!
