Invisible fences are great if your only concern is to keep your dog in.

If you live in a wooded area or swamp nearby, and there are fishers, wolves or other wildlife that can threaten your dog, these invisible fences won't be much help to you or your pet.

I was listening to CBC radio the other day, and they were reporting a rash of small dogs being taken by wolves and coyotes as the food supply is dwindling during the extreme cold winter weather.

I plan on getting one of those invisible fence systems to use when I'm outside with them.
