$4? They are selling them for $3.50 around here. I got conned into buying some Caramel Delights as I was leaving Lowe's the other night. You can't put three adorable little girls begging for you to buy cookies at the exits, it's not fair.

My little girl is in Brownies, and we just got the cookie sale material on Tuesday. So much for trying to loose weight
I like to make a milkshake with vanilla ice cream and spin in a handful of thin mints

Who said life is fair?

We have an 8 year old that is a Girl Scout, and helped out at some of the booth sales at Lowes and other places around here last year. Even the people that could resist at first often turned around. We made a point of letting the girls know to be polite and courteous even if people didn't but something or even bother to answer when they asked.

But when you've got two or three little girls that just tell them thank you and have a good day as they try to walk past, a lot of them would do a U-turn and either buy some cookies or make a donation.

One cold day last year we were at Lowes for two hours, and they sold cookies so fast that me and another parent could barely make change and keep track of the money. Those kids weren't messing around.

What gets me are the parents that bring in the order forms to work and do the leg work. All they do is send out a mass email to our department letting us know they have the order forms, as if they are doing us a favor. Eff that!!

I refuse to buy from them. Unless I see their daughters footing around the office writing down the orders and making the deliveries, I won't pay a dime.

I've got my eight year old daughter in girl scouts, they, too, have gotten the order forms and sales info at the last meeting. My wife had her call our neighbors and see if they wanted to buy cookies. After she got done talking to our neighbors, they told us that they much prefer her to ask then one of us. It's like KSUWildcat says, it's messed up for the parents to sell the cookies for her. She's also hit up our parents and relatives here in town. I'm already in for about 10 boxes of them, can't wait till march!

Oh, and Impact9, thanks alot for the picture. How the heck am I supposed to go those girl scout meetings now????? You have created a seriously messed up moral dilema for me! t..h..a..n..k..s..
