That's what get's me. Smokers who can't go 30 minutes without a cigarette. I've seen smokers leave their movie to get a smoke. My mother in law will nearly die trying to go through dinner without a smoke.

However, these folks help justify my lapses of laziness at work. If anyone ever questions my web surfing I can just say that I don't take smoke breaks every hour. Heck, in the military I used to take smoke breaks because that was allowed, not regular breaks though. So I'd just stand around with a lit cigarette.

In NJ they banned smoking a while back but still allowed it in the Casino's in Atlantic City. I think a few month later, they changed the Casino's to restricted areas where you could smoke. Reading the paper last week the Casino's are down about 7% last year and they think that the smoking ban has had a lot to do with this. I wonder how long it is going to be before they lift the ban in AC. I know a lot of bars along the shore are still allowed to have smokers at the bars that are outside. A lot of bars/restaurants put in outside bars in the last year. There is a way around everything if you try hard enough

Just my oppinion here. but I live inLexington where the ban is 'really' in effect. I can't stand going to louisville cause of the smoking. Trust me, after the shock of this blows over you will be fine w/ it.

Ya you cant smoke in bars... or "confined public spaces" . Now you can't smoke in downtown (not in the street, not anyweher, not even your OWN DAMN CAR!! ) And now it is illegal for anyone to smoke in a vehicle with a minor in it (under 18). Oh, and you cannot smoke in parks. Its stupid. I should be able to stink up my truck as much as I want. Just like you should be able to light up a small joint in the privacy of your own home before you go to sleep. just my take. not a big fan of "big brother" telling me what i can breathe and what I can ingest and when and where I can do these things i enjoy. Also, no I am not some big smoker or some pot head. I have MAYBE one smoke a day... but go weeks with out any and then go to Vegas and smoke like a mad man ( legal EVERYWHERE there ! )

Also, you guys who don't like the smell of smoke... what if we don't like the smell of your B.O. ? Can we make that illegal too ? and while we are at it... i don't like having to get into a customer's car after they have put on POUNDS of cologne/perfume ... so can we make that illegal ? Point is, you do NOT have the RIGHT to not be offended... its a privilege ! I understand not enjoying the smoke, and not everyone wants to be around it, thats why i try to be a curteous smoker. i don't smoke in your house, nor in your car, so leave MINE alone. ok, that was my rant. Back to work

It could be worse for you smokers. France just went smoke free. The ENTIRE COUNTRY!!! Smoking is prohibited in the whole country. So just when you think it sucks, just think, you could be living in France. You all need to kick the habit anyway!!!

In Texas youy can smoke in certain restaurants. It depends on how much food to alcohol they sell. But I have sat in the smoking section of an El Fenix and they sell a lot more food than alcohol. So I guess Texans don't give a f#$@ if you smoke.

That's good, all you dirty biatches who pollute everyones air, get used to it, your days are numbered

They banned it at our local casino, I love it, gives me a woody now.
It's funny in the winter, they all run outside every 10 minutes smoking in the cold and freezing their nuts off. HAHA

Under the by-law or whatever, they must be 30 feet from the door, but they all hover around it, so when I walk in, I always complain to security and make them move the polluters the required 30 feet back LOL

Yeah baby, who wants a high 5?
