Computer as a Media Center Questions
I think the Black Box version MIGHT be a package deal... but I'm not sure. I know some other cards came in an "orange" or "red" box and that denoted what game software was included along w/ the card.
Otherwise, it may be a re-branded ATI card. That's what mine is. I have a Powercolor version. But at the time, it was the only one I could find that came w/ the DVI to HDMI adapter. Make sure you get that. Any adapter will work, but there is something on the card itself that is "unlocked". If the card doesn't come w/ the adapter, it won't work, even if you purchase the adapter after the fact. At least that's what I read in a review of the card.

Well I won't be going with the 8800 GT OC'd because....
"Cables Included (2) DVI to VGA Adapters; Power Cable Adapter"
That would be no DVI to HDMI cables so it's not unlocked on that board.
Granted the sound is going to go from the optical out on the abi ip35 pro mobo directly to the optical in on the onkyo receiver.

Everything is purchased and I'll be putting it together this weekend. Though I got severely carried away and more then doubled my budget!
