Storage Shed site prep question
Storage Shed site prep question
I bought a shed about a month ago 16x10. 3 weeks ago the site prep was done. Leveled the site and added an 18x12 crush stone pad. Unfortunately we’ve had a bunch of snow and the shed can’t be delivered just yet. Should I be worried at all about the site itself with all the snow? Or is it fine and when ever the shed gets here it will be OK?
I would worry about frost. The ground may have heaved due to frost. The shed would not be level after it thaws out.
You need to check for that. See if you can shovel some of the ground below the stone.

I don't think I'd sweat it too much -- a quick double-check of the prepared site before setting your barn into place should be all you need.
Did you prep the site yourself, or did the barn builder do it? If the builder did it, they should be expected to double-check the site, or at least assure you in writing that you won't have any issues related to the exposure of the site.
