Toyota has been chasing GM for quite some time now, as Crazed mentioned I thought last year they were able to turn more units than Chevy. The real deal is not so much the number of units sold but the insane profit Toyota makes and enough liquid assets to purchase some of the big 3's straight cash

toyota was #1 over a month ago. They lost it and it wasnt just today.GM is #1 and it's going to stay that way.
