I like this one.
it's a 98 model i don't know if they still put the v6 in them
not enough gas savings between it and the 4.6 i have to notice.
i've had less trouble with the v8s also.
but that is just my opinion
i'm in serious need of wheels for this one . all the ones we like, well i don't want to mortgage the farm

No. I believe '06 was.

Also, I've seen lifted F-150's with the V6 before. It's not a bad motor, just not my cup of tea. It's actually a derivative of the old 3.8L V6 in the Thunderbird.

Too much chrome, but that's just me.

2008 Ford F150
4.6 14/19
5.4 13/17
V6M 14/20
V6A 14/19

Not a whole lot of savings there if you ask me.

It looks OK. I dont much care for the chrome on the side and I dont like the front bumper. Too much red. It might look OK if you put street performance tires or low-pros on it and maybe wheels off of a Lightning, but it just has normal truck tires and the front looks out of place.
It doesnt look bad, but it doesnt exactly do anything for me.
Sorry, but you asked...

Exactly. You do save about $1500 in purchase price by going with a V6 over a V8, but other than that I dont see any reason to go with a V6 over a V8.
Even if its only a 4.6L, I wouldnt be willing to give up the power of a V8. Not to mention that the V8s are overhead cam, whereas the V6 is a pushrod motor. Overhead cam engines are more efficient than pushrod engines.

the rocker pannle have flames cut in them. found some wheels that would make it look right but coddington is proud of em

I would get rid of all the chrome and go all red for the sport look. The front bumper does not go with the cheesy chrome wheel lips and the chrome strip down the side.
