xmas gift going on today

Happy Holiday's all.

My truck is at the shop right now getting my new SI/DO Magnaflow exhaust put on. I'm just waiting for the phone to ring letting me know it's done. What a great gift! I would guess my gas milage will suck for the next two weeks as I act like a little kid again gunning it from light to light just to hear it... (Can't wait)...

Haha... I still do it too. Is it bad that out of both of the trucks I've owned, I've had the exhaust done before they even had plates on them?

My exhaust isnt loud enough. Flowmaster super44, they say its the most aggressive muffler they've made, but i want more sound. Im probably going to cut the rear cats and maybe switch to a single chamber muffler.

Magnaflows sound like pooh above 2.5k RPMs to me.

The 40 Series (original recipe) is louder than the 44. Louder than the 40 would be the 10 Series race muffler. Louder than that? IMCO/Cherry Bomb Extreme. Even louder? Straight pipe.

Yeah too bad they dont make the 10 series in a SI/DO. If removing the back cats doesnt adds enough sound, a cherry bomb extreme could be making its way onto my truck. I just hope it has the same tone as flowmasters, just louder.

Update

Picked it up yesterday. Walked around back to see how the pipes looked coming out the back, looked awesome. Left the door open as I started it for the first time. hehehe ear to ear smile as it hit that wrorrgggggg... Such a sweet sound. Took it easy to make sure everything was running right and nothing banging around. Once I was happy I nailed it... the best way I can describe it "WHOOOOO". Haven't had the radio on since...
