i duno why chevy doesnt put a solid axle in their 2500+ trucks

Cause the FORD SUPERDUTIES are a far Superior Animal!.......Heck the frame on my 2007 F-150 is probably stonger than a GM 2500.......

For the same reason the Z-71 1500 have sat much much lower than the FX4 trucks for years. Chevy is much more concerned with a truck behaving like a car than it is with a truck that acts like a truck.

yup. ever riden in a chevy 2500? the ride is a ton smoother then a ford superduty. But, a 2500 or 3500 SHOULD drive and behave like a truck, its what its built for

Here are some more pics as requested... and thanks for the words of encouragement. The adjuster won't be out until next monday or tuesday. The for sale sign came out right after the pics were taken. My dad has already talked with the ins company. I did some research today on the value of the truck. I "should" do OK, hopefully.
