Fender repair done :)

Regarding this thread...

I'm all done with the fender replacement after that deer hit my car! Here's how it turned out (see photos). I at least wanted it to look good enough that you'd have to look hard to notice something had happened and is different. Really all that's different now is the pin striping is gone. I never liked those in the first place, but now you can tell it's missing though. Oh well. I replaced the fender myself.

I got the fender for $30 from Auto Body Panels (new) and the paint job from the dealer was $121 - paint matched using the VIN number. Pretty good match I think So for less that $160, this is the result. It's not an absolute perfect fit, but it fits really good I think for an aftermarket fender. I did have to enlarge a few of the top screw holes to give me more room to adjust the fit.

Honestly, from the pics at least, it looks to be flawless. Congrats

Thanks I still need to do something about the wheel well. The plastic shroud broke up pretty bad and there's a big hole on the front part. So that means water and snow can get throw up into the headlight area and so on. I may just go find a piece at a junk yard and patch it. The cars value is pretty much nothing at this point, so a patch wheel well can't hurt it any worse
