Deer Damage

I swear deer are stupid. This one decided to ram the side of my car while I was doing about 45. Idiot. Got my beater fortunately. If he had hit my truck I would have had to get out and finish him off

Kinda funny...it's tail got yanked off between the door and the fender. I swear the thing must have been running before it hit me because it hit hard.

I hit a deer with my '99 way back when... didn't do a thing to it. I hit 2 with my Escape... dang near totaled the thing. I hope my '07 is just as strong as my '99 was as far as hitting junk.

Yea, they're pretty good about running into the sides of vehicles, stupid animals. Hope you can get it fixed.

Update. Bought the new fender from Auto Body Panels. They have a large warehouse here in Cincinnati. $29 for the fender and it doesn't feel much less in weight or thickness than the factory fender. The dealer painted it for me using the VIN number to match the paint. It only took me 35 minutes to get the old fender off, and that's even without using a sledge hammer I'll be picking up the painted fender this morning and putting it on the car this evening after work. I'll post some pictures of how it turned out...assuming it doesn't look horrible...LOL Nah, I'm sure it'll work out ok.

P.S. Someone mentioned something about my camera and the car being clean. Yes, the car is pretty clean for it's age and still looks good, although I don't like red cars...but it was nearly free from in-laws so I can't complain. The camera is my little Fuji F30 - awesome little pocket camera. I don't carry my Nikon D200 in my pocket
