pm's ????

100 posts before you can PM? doesnt that seem a little rediculous? I have been a member for a while now and plan to stay for a long time seeing i just bought a new f150 and have lots of questions and some advice. But 100 posts before you can pm someone to ask questions about their setup is a little rediculous. Is there someone (moderator ro someone ) i can talk to yo get that changed?
Anyone else have this problem or frustration?

Do like everyone else did ans post a question in thread form, that way your post count will merit PM status. The 100 post count to PM rule is like that for everyone, so get to posting.

With a 125,994 members that have adhered to the rule, I don't think one little post is going to get it changed. Its called spam, and the other 125,9943 members don't want it in their inbox... thus the 100 post rule.

Shoot, the 100 post rule isn't the killer, it's the 90 days thing. I've already had a few members that I've wanted to get a hold of without posting it publicly so I could give them some info, but I can't. I can understand the spam thing, I hate that too. It's just frustrating when your a new member having to deal with this.

It really isnt that bad. For the time being if you have a question to ask someone about thier setup or anything misc just start a thread with thier name in it. Helps if the person frequents a specific section of the forums aswell. Happy postings

PS ^^ Listen to dezervit every once in a while. He helped me find my ***** once. (Long story so dont ask)

click on their name and look at their profile. You can email people unless they don't want to receive any emails.

3,867 have the time and the post count.

15 have the post count but not the time.
3,675 have neither the post count nor the time.
118,454 have the time but not the post count.

I understand about SPAM. I belong ot many other forums for my race bike and my Mustangs, but most of them are 10 post limits, not 100. I am now up ot hundreds of posts on the other sites, but am new here. I dont expect them to change it for just me. Im just saying that it could take 5-6 months to get to 100 posts and I need advice on building my truck now. Im impulsive but still want ot make informed purchases.
I understand I can make new posts to ask questions, But often times it is somerthing simple like "hey, I like the look of your truck, can you tell me what lift that is" or somerthing really simple like that and dont want to take up a new post and waste everyones times when it is something that can best be handled through pm....
Whatever, I guess Ill just wait and hope I dont make too make expensive mistakes between now and then.
