What Is The Best Vodka?
What Is The Best Vodka?
I am going to buy some vodka for a good friend of mine---the problem is, I do not drink vodka---I am a whiskey and soda or a whiskey and water man, myself. What do you guys out there drink---I want good stuff, remember!

A friend of mine lights his vodka up on fire with a match and then shoots it... surprised he hasn't gotten burned or caught on fire yet.

My friend calls that a "flaming arrow". He has burned the sides of his mouth a few times. I guess not eveyone learns from their mistakes?
While I don't drink, I have a friend who is a fan of fine vodka and he said try Zyr. Also a big thumbs up for Chopin.
But for those of you rednecks who seem to think that if it isn't made in America it sucks, and especially those of you who think the world ends at the Texas border, then there's Tito's Handmade Vodka. Is it any good? Who knows, but it's made in Texas, and for all we know it's made by union members. Those two things combined qualify it as the best vodka in the known universe!
Personally, I'd rather have Starbuck's Verona coffee.

check out 'ultimat vodka' as far as premium vodkas go.

i have had it before and it is good, i have seen it mentioned on the food network somewhere also.
funny thing with vodka is, i think you are wasting money looking for a 'high end' vodka, but it will make a nice pretty gift. its not like a scotch where the manufacturing and aging play a big factor in the final product.
i also remember seeing an episode of mythbusters where they tested different vodkas. it seems that the more its filtered, the better it gets, and thats pretty much the deciding factor in what makes a good product.
svedka makes for a real nice martini, and does not break the bank.
