But for those of you rednecks who seem to think that if it isn't made in America it sucks, and especially those of you who think the world ends at the Texas border, then there's Tito's Handmade Vodka. Is it any good? Who knows, but it's made in Texas, and for all we know it's made by union members. Those two things combined qualify it as the best vodka in the known universe!
Personally, I'd rather have Starbuck's Verona coffee.

i have had it before and it is good, i have seen it mentioned on the food network somewhere also.
funny thing with vodka is, i think you are wasting money looking for a 'high end' vodka, but it will make a nice pretty gift. its not like a scotch where the manufacturing and aging play a big factor in the final product.
i also remember seeing an episode of mythbusters where they tested different vodkas. it seems that the more its filtered, the better it gets, and thats pretty much the deciding factor in what makes a good product.
svedka makes for a real nice martini, and does not break the bank.

I like the Grey Goose though...thats some good stuff. The last time I had some of that lets just say it wasn't pretty...haha.
If he is an alcoholic just buy some Skol!!!
If you're looking for a fine Top Shelf vodka look no further than Chopin. 750ml will set you back about $35.00 but unlike the others mentioned already, Chopin is actually made from potatoes and is imported directly from Poland.
