Tempur-Pedic "The Celebrity" or Sealy TrueForm 11"

I have searched.. to all that own either please chime in. I went to a local mattress store and they had both, the Tepur-pedic mybe a touch softer initially, but after 10-15 minutes they feel about the same, the only difference then is the price tag which is about $1900 more than the Sealy.

I need some input from anyone who owns either.

Also, list anything you have found you liked or disliked after owing the mattress's for sometime.
1) Does it sag at all? If so how long before sagging.
2) Do you have any regrets for spending the more or less money for the real or the knockoff? Also if you could go back would you go the same route or choose the other brand.
3) How hot does your mattress get? my house stays b/n 60-66 year round
$) as it gets hotter and colder can you tell a difference in how hard and soft the mattress becomes, if so is it a huge change or minimal?

I have the Tempurpedic. It's an excellent bed. Haven't noticed any differences in firmness with temperature fluctuations. My only complaint:

When Mrs. Muddytruck and I want to make bedroom party, we can't be anywhere near the edge of the bed, because the edges collapse, and we start to roll off

Also, the Tempurpedic pillows are a waste of money. Nothing beats good ole down.

I got the temperpedic queen size with power adjust/massage. I like it alot, especially for the nighttime activities.... No more squeeking bed, and you get more traction. I sleep better on this bed than any other one we have had. Get the mattress protector they sell, especially if you got little kids that have accidents. I keep our room about 69 degrees and the bed is hard untill your body heat warms it up and then it's softer. You will not want to get out of bed in the morning. Money well spent!

We have the Tempur-Pedic "The Celebrity" Queen size and absolutely Love it
two years old and just as new. Use to have horrid shoulder pains and its pretty well cured

But we are cold blooded sleepers turn the temp way down at night ..

I have heard people complain and hate them if they are night sweaters or smaller people say they are hard

alot of money (worth ever penny) and thicker than reg mattress .Had to Puts are right on the floor had to take off bed side rails or get a step ladder to get in lol and i'm 6'4"

P.S i have heard its a no no to put small children on a tempur-pedic they will sink in and suffocate

Oh and if the height is a problem i think it was sealy that had half height box springs you could use saved about 4" of height

I tried the tempurpedic, and it was too hot for me. I couldn't get a decent nights sleep in it, I was just too hot. I now have a King Koil (i think) "ClimaCool" or something like that. Its made for hot sleepers. It also has a Dupont CoolMax covering on it to make it even better.

I like it considerably better than a traditional style mattress, however my girlfriend doesn't like it, she just hasn't gotten used to it. We are considering getting a sleep number bed though.

same here. It took a few weeks to get used to but it is great. My side is soft and the wife's side is hard as a rock.

I have read the sleep numbers are great, but I can only get a foam in a king to go up the stairs since it is so flexible and me and the wife want a king

What about a box spring? How are you getting that up the stairs? Or are you putting it on a platform. The Sleep Number beds are the simplest things in the world to move. I can move my mattress all by myself when it's dis-assembled. They come in several pieces and you assemble them on site. Mine has a zippered cover, 2 inflatable mattresses, several thick foam pieces to go around the outside edge of the mattresses inside the cover, the air hoses, air pump and controllers. We're using an old box springs that we had from our previous mattress set but it could just as easily be set on a platform.

IMHO It depends on which side you sleep on. I have a tempurpedic and dread going to bed. I sleep on my front so my back is put in an abnormal position and aches all day. Can't get rid of it though, the wife fell in love with it the first night and since momma's happy, I'm happy.

I've got the TempurPedic at home because of my back and I have to say it's one of the best beds if not the best. We've got a Sleep Number in our RV and once you find the right setting, it's pretty damn good too.

We bought a new bed in July. Looked at the TempurPedic and several others. Ended up with a Simmons Beautyrest Donovan. I suggest looking into it. Very comfortable, I haven't slept this well in ages.
