Battery Tender, Junior or Plus

I would like to purchase three battery tenders, one for my sportbike and two for my atv's but Im not sure which one. Im pretty sure that I can use the junior but wanted to ask someone who may own one or may know something about these. I was on the JC Whitney site and they have the juniors for $23.99 and the plus for $47.99. I know that the plus has a faster charging system but keep in mind that I just need the tender to help maintain my batteries life during the winter.

I looked at the Battery Tenders, but thought they were over-priced for what they were. You can get a similar item made by Schumacher (a well known brand of battery charger) at most auto parts or "mart" stores for less than half the price, and it does exactly the same thing.......

I got the cheapest battery charger/tender Walmart had and threw that on my boat last winter... It worked great.

you should be ok with the junior. I have a regular battery tender, but I didn't buy it. I had bought one of those cold heat soldering guns. A friend of mine had just sold his motorcycle and was starting to play with RC Helicopters and they recommended the cold heat soldering gun for connecting up all the wires. Since it didn't work with the wiring I was doing we arranged a sweet trade. I've been using the tender on my track bike for the past few years. It's a scooter battery in there, but with it tended and no lights to illuminate, it cranks right up. I hadn't had a tender prior to this, but I won't be without one again.
