12"-18" of Snow

Well, here in the great Central New York... it seems as if we are going to get blasted with some artic air and LOTS of snow all at once on Saturday night. This will hopefully give me a chance to get those pics I wanted to post with filling my bed up with snow... oh I so hope so. We've already got about 12" on the ground... so this should bring us up to about 2ft+ on the ground.

I can't wait... My tractor is working like a charm, and I've been keeping the yard and driveways clear. I only got stuck once and it was because I went to push some snow in the ditch and I didn't watch how far I was going and got the whole front end high-centered on the dirt... had to use my manual winch attached to my truck to pull me out (I've learned never to pull something out with the truck if it was small, best let a winch do it...) I got it out in like 2 seconds and I was back on my way. Next time I'll be less stupid.

My neighbors have already asked me like 100x if I could plow their driveways, because regular plow trucks really tear up their lawns. Guess what I say?! NOOOOOOOO!

I have a gut feeling it's gonna be bad...

Heck, I moved a pile of snow ealier today and pushed it back another 10 feet... I dunno, it gives me a sense of security just in case we get dumped on.

Be careful out there... but you're driving a good truck, so you shouldn't have a problem. It's always the other idiots that are passing you in their Civics... Yeah, just take it easy.

Yeah, I might just wait it out here in Buffalo. Work can wait, right?

I doubt there will be a lot of other people on the road though...between the Bills game and the storm it should be pretty low traffic.

Dang I envy you guys with the snow. We never get any excitement down here.....just warm and sunny all the time. Seriously though... I would love to play a little in it in my truck and then have it be 80 the next day.

Ya we are supposed to get close to 2 feet tonight. I don't know about that? That seems like a lot for over night? We'll see. I wish I could fit my truck in the garage. It figures too I just shoveled all the snow out of my truck box a half hour ago. Atleast my G5 and ATV are gonna stay dry.

I know its friggen cold out! It -20 something with the windchill. I just brought the Christmas tree inside and it was nippy out.

Stay safe guys!!
