Apparently an operator at Virginia Beach already has a few huts out, and the bait shack is likely going on the ice at the end of Gilford Rd next week, or so he's saying on his board. He plays it very safe before puting the bait shack out because he doesn't want to send the message to people that the ice is safe.
Either way, I'll be out during the Christmas break for sure this season! It's been a while before anybody could SAFELY get out this early in the season.

Good luck and congrats on the new member of your family.

I can't wait till it's all said and done. Even 8+ inches would be great, makes bieng this cold more fun at least.

Well, it started out there... it covered the roads instantly... so I am assuming we are gonna get blasted with a lot of snow, from the looks of the radar maps and other indications.

I can't wait to wait up.

At least my tractor is nice and filled up and ready to go.

I don't know what it is about Buffalo, you guys get it worse than us and we're just north of you. It's still coming down and it's 1:15. I have street parking only (lovely)

NOTE TO SELF:NEVER NEVER NEVER EVER EVER buy a 2wd pick-up again. You all with 4X4's are in for some fun.
