The movie wasn't unwatchable. It was OK; but, when you have a spit shined Ford emblem perfectly centered on the screen, instead of concentrating on the action going on, that's obtrusive to me. I don't care that the 2 vehicles in the movie were Fords. Good for Ford. I can even let it go that the vehicle she was driving in the end was exactly like the one destroyed when she first met Will; but, once again, spit shined after a long drive and the emblem perfectly centered on the screen, as though it was the focus of the scene. Unrealistic and distracting.

Also, I doubt very seriously that anybody, with half a brain, would have chosen a straight shift vehicle for chasing deer around New York City, with a rifle in his lap. Getting a shot off like that would have been tricky as hell. The car is cool. The scene was stupid as hell.

Oh great...ruin the movie for me.

Now I know that Will wasn't alone.

Damn it!

Wasn't he in an Explorer when she rescued him? In the end she was in an Escape wasn't she? Don't remember for sure, but I think so...

Looked like the same vehicle to me. Same rack and everything. Even the color was the same. It was an Expedition BTW.

FYI:

"But this time around, it's not just a Ford convertible that gets face time. Smith also shares scenes with a Ford Expedition and a Ford Escape Hybrid. "

It is an Escape in the end.

I stand corrected. The rack and color threw me off. And the closeup of the grill at the end, too.

Wow, irony at its best. Maybe Ford didn't make it clear enough...considering you managed to mistake Ford's largest SUV for its smallest

I'm big enough to admit a mistake.

Are you related to Alanis Morissette?

Sweet little clip of Will running down some deer with a Shelby, complete with supercharger whine.
Will Smith is an idiot. I liked him much more before the fame created his current alter ego. I refuse to watch any of his movies.

I agree, I don't care for him either. It also drives me NUTS when he's being inteviewed or something and says things like "I had to hold my breaf in the water" or "it's was my son's birfday". I've heard him talk like that during several interviews.

Honestly, that's the best you can do? I guess I shouldn't expect anything better from a "guy" that gets his panties in a bunch over product placement in a movie.

Why don't you write your senator about Transformers and Cast Away too, damn them for advertising in their movies!

:shakes his head: ....confusing an Escape for an Expedition EL....that's classic.
