Looks like you had to track him a little while since it was after dark before you got the pics. and he's not even field dressed yet. Where'd you hit him at?

thanks. Good thing is we didn't have to track him at all. Dropped him right on the spot. Only reason it is dark in the pics is we had to wait about 20 min. for the camera to get to us and by then we had done drug him out to the truck. One hell of a rush though. He came out right in front of me trailing a doe about 50 yards. Hit him with my 30/30 with open sights right before dark
Oh, and hit him right above the front shoulder.

Awesome buck! I'm from the area too. I am in school at tallahassee and live here but originally from small town of Blountstown about 45 miles west of tally on hwy 20. Heard of the place?
