Im Gonna Start Fighting!
Well as of last week i've been training with team Roc out of Eden, NC to see if I can't start to pursue my passion, fighting. I'm pumped to be working with quality trainers that can direct me and push me the proper way. I don't have much martial arts history. I wrestled throughout military school and won are conference state championship my junior and senior year. I've messed around with a little bit of judo but nothing to serious. Besides that I'm a blank slate and ready to take this seriously....So wish me luck

I dabbled with MMA for a little bit, fought twice, it was pretty fun, but insane amounts of work........Never really realized how much energy those fighters expend in that octagon in just a couple of minutes till i stepped up and did it.......
Im now 23 and have retired from the fighting......but i went out undefeated

I may be a little slower than I was 10 years ago....
I maybe a little less agile than I was 10 years ago....
I may have lost some muscle tone and added some fat from 10 years ago......
For everything I have lost, and still better than most that are 10 years younger.
But for everything I have lost I have gained in 2 areas.
I now have a stronger desire not to be hit or injured.
Which gives a stronger determination to do what ever it takes to prevent it.
and
I have learned a lot in the last decade.
But not enough to keep me from doing stupid stuff like fighting.

I was referring to injuries not healing as quickly as they used to. I'm in as good of shape as most people 20 years my junior; but, fighting trim is a whole other level.

My tolerance for pain has dropped considerably though.
I think before I was just to stupid to realize how bad it was suppose to hurt.
