I have enough trouble with 4" clays, it's gonna be a while before I'm good enough to shoot crackers at 20 yrds. with a .45
although, I could throw out some crackers and wait for the possums and rats to show up.......

That works as well..

Sorry, didn't know what you were shooting...just read the "cool targets part" we usually set up a scoped Ar-15and shoot Saltines at 100yds. .45 would be a little rough, but then again "aim small, miss small"..

Like mentioned.. Milk jugs and 2-3 litre bottles filled with water are always good.

I've never tried the CD'S before, but it sounds cool.

I always do my shooting at the old strip mines, so I can bring anything I want.. and I don't have to clean up because it's covered with trash anyways.

1.Get some of those small, green propane tanks.
2. Cover it with gasoline.
3. Cover a stick with gasoline.
4. Light stick on fire and throw at propane tank.
5. Shoot propane tank with large caliber rifle or shotgun slug.

This will work with any aerosol can also.

I did it once to a large, 20GAL tank and it was amazing!

Imagine what happens with the tank on fire!

I actually have shot two big prop tanks like that.. I made the mistake on the first one of not lighting it on fire.

You can't use it indoors, but the BEST thing to shoot at for fun, is TANNERITE!!!!

I can't believe no-one mentioned it yet. Get some friends together and get a lot of it. Fill up old appliances or just shoot it as is. Check the link for some pretty awesome videos

Melons are excellent targets!

A very fun target tho is shaving cream cans, even ones that are "empty".. Full is better, but it's a waste of shaving cream..

But holy chit do those things blow!! VERY entertaining!!

I've got a couple of deceased computer monitors that I'd love to blast at.. cain't bring myself to leave broken glass everywhere tho.. lol

If you've never seen a TV or CRT implode.. it's something everyone should see at least once!

Extremely lethal though.
Not only do they contain mercury, they have various other gases that can kill you almost instantly. I wouldn't do it.

When I lived on Houston, my buddies said if I wanted to shoot something, it was best to shoot at cans.
