It may not be in Dallas...But my Bro' is saying that 817 is in DFW is perfectly acceptable. Why? Because it lets the rest of the forum understand the general vicinity of the area code. Picky, picky, picky.
Oh yeah, the Dallas Cowboys are not in Dallas, they are in Irving...
DFW airport is not in Dallas...
Lake Dallas is connected to Lake Lewisville, and nowhere near Dallas, and most of it is in Denton County. Who gives a rats a$$?

My Aggies are playing those tortilla tech boys tonite in Lubbock. You'll be crying after we beat them tonite. Coach Knight will be so mad he will go hunting again and pepper some locals house!
As for 817...it does matter. Ft. Worth residents don't typically like Dallas and like to be seperate. Why do you think they live in Ft. Worth?

Ktexas.. Yes I am currently in Trophy Club right now at my parents house. I ship out for basic training february 5th.. That's why I am not in lubbock this semester.
Dave.. It's only about a 4 and a half hour drive if you go the speed limit but who the hell does that?
TxRanger.. I'd love to have a get together sometime. We have parties out at the shop all the time. Its down off of frankford close to the Highland Oaks development(we just built an 7,700 sqft house in there its saweet
)
Fx4.. We are from Vernon, I'm not sure if you know where that is but we attend summers last blast there every year and bring a car or two down. When I get back i'd be more than happy to show you the shop and have a few beers.
To whoever made the Ron Pratte comment.. I wish.. We do a bunch of real estate stuff in lubbock. Our biggest current opperation is assisted livings. We own Grace House off of 4th and Milwaukee and South Haven. We also have 10 acres up for sale right on the county line that we are selling by the square foot
Since the pictures.. The challenger has an interior in it now, and we just bought an 80 corvette. We are hopping that our other 57 chevy will be done soon.. Its going on 5 years in the making

any of you guys in lubbock wanna let me know where the best place to get a house is? My transfer/readmission has gone through back to tech and im goin to be down periodically in the coming months house/apartment hunting. preferably house. I had found on in the medical district, I think 26th not far from campus but it got sold before we got to it....
