What Could I Get

If money gets tight here in a few months I might have to sell my truck I just wanted to get some basic ideas on what I might be able to get out of it. If theres a better place for this let me know but here it goes. Its a 2000 F150 XLT, has about 88,000 miles on it. Has the 5.4L with K&N intake and true dual exhaust. Has all power, windows, locks, has a remote start, A/C is cold. Just had the whole truck gone over, oil changed with full synthetic, tranny fluid changed. Truck is a 4x4. Here is everything that is new or within the past 2 months. MT wheels, SS brush guard and tail light guards, chrome side step, pioneer D3 touch screen with navigation, edge, radio shack cb. It is a black regular cab short bed. Interior is in great condition, exterior is pretty good with a few minor scratches here and there but hey its a truck. Dont know what else I'm missing but heres a picture just let me know what you think thanks!

i've seen trucks in my area in rougher shape, with more milesgo for any from 8-12,000 . i'd started at @ 10,000-13,000 . so that might scare off the lookee loues and tire kickers that will just waste your time anyway. but start off higher than your bottom $$$ or you'll have room to work with.. good luck nice truck btw and hope things improve so you don't have to sell.

I'd be inclined to sell the modifications on ebay, put the factory stuff back on, and then try to sell the truck for 8-10 grand in it's stock form. I suspect you'd maximize your gain that way, since relatively few people will pay you any extra for a truck with a bunch of mods on it. Good luck!

I really dont want to I love my truck, and anytime I get something nice I have to sell it. Had a 99 wrangler, 3" lift, 33" tires, hard/soft top, full doors traded it in for my 2000 gt mustang which a year later due to gas I had to trade in for my 99 zx2 My truck I got last year and only drove it when need be. I think I'll go to my mom for a little help.. hell I still owe like $6000 on the truck anyways

If the right buyer is interested he will pay what is asked or negotiate a better price in the higher range to benefit the seller. Specially with the mods. Besides; I have never seen anyone follow the kbb. It is a GOOD starting point and a "rough" estimate but I have seen dealer cars sell for thousands more than the listed kbb and have traded in cars and received less by the dealer than the kbb. There has to be some outlining "foundation" of vehicle values but they are mere suggestions. JMO

Also granted; many buyers want the most they can get for the least they have to dish out financially. Get the most for your money. Someon will take it off your hands. It might not be in the time frame you want, but it will eventually be sold. Nice truck by the way.
