Yeah man I agree with Scott. In Florida an OZ of normal stuff is about $80-$90. Here in Texas its about $35-$40. Its cheap here!

I myself would stay like everyone else has said. So you would be building power lines right?? If so do the guys have a bucket truck for the poles or would you have to climb all of them?? That chit would get old real quick I would think if you were interested in doing that kind of work you could get a job locally. Lineman are pretty high in demand across the whole country as far as i know. Depending on the place hiring though you almost have to know someone to get in. Then you get to start the apprenticeship program which takes like 5 years now to complete like myself!!

i've started the apprentice program down in beaumont, tx at lamar. wasn't bad just didn't get a chance to finish because of a deployment.

yea, i would be doing ground work (framing, operating digger, etc) and also doing line work out of the bucket. 90% of it is reconstruct so it's not that bad, and it will be doing distribution, not transmission work.

doing good so far: day 3 w/o the grunge:
today wasn't bad, my dang temper though is starting to get worse like it was. eating adherol like a baby. (i've got ADD and it SEEMS to help, but dang the green stuff is so much better)

boss came in today griping about how crappy sales were and chewing ***. then he tells us he's going to jamaica for a week leaving today. couldn't get off the phone before he walked out to ask him if he ever thought i could go to jamaica working for him at this job... and then to shove jamaica up his A$$ and no one cares....

ok, there's my rant. going to go back to smoking this LEGAL stuff. isn't worth a dang, BUT i THINK i got a headrush???

 

I don't think they're talking about the same quality we're thinking of. A quarter of decent stuff should run about $100, or an ounce for $300. The stuff that's similar to what you can find in Amsterdam runs $120/$400.

Crash: Do you work out? I found that getting a good workout in towards the end of the day helped mellow me out. Usually a couple mile run will do nicely.
