Need you Help. Why ford is better then Chevy.

Ok, at my job most of my cowokers in my section drive a chevy, they always talk crap to me about why I'm buying M/T for my 2WD, why I drive a ford, how there truck can out perform mine, and how there truck cost more and has a bigger resale value. I put up a good fight, I never give up and always come up with new thing to tell them. I was wondering if there was some sort of website that could tell me why a 07-08 F-150 is better then a Silverado. Maybe a print out I could get or some sort that states all the differences. I know there better right down to the fully boxed frame, bolts are bigger, etc. I love my truck and I know it looks better, drives better, and built tougher. Just need a little help. Thanks.

Tell him to watch the "Truth About Trucks", CD/Video! It is pretty evident that the build quality between Ford/GM is astounding, especially from a Safety point of View...............

Chevys do have higher resale value, mud tires on a 2wd are questionable, and he can out perform you as far as power.
Just like the 2500 Regular cab with the Duramax... Those things are speed demons.

I wouldn't mind owning one... just to know I could do a really quick 0-60 mph with a diesel stock.

People are generally going to buy whatever they like and defend it to the death. Personally my dad owned Chevy trucks the whole time I was growing up. Watching that nightmare was enough to keep me away from them for a lifetime. The new Chevy trucks have come a long way in fit and finish, too bad the body style of so bad. If he drives a z-71 I already feel bad enough for him; sagging doors, terrible mileage, chasis flexes till cab hits the bed offroad, weak front axles... A guy in my truck club wheels one, it literally breaks every single time we go out and he isnt even that hard on it.

That's right it's an argument you can't win. They won't accept you saying Ford is better any more then you accept Chevy being better. Just enjoy your Ford, do what you want to it, and drive it knowing that yours is the better of the two brands.

Just load up your bed, get a loaded trailer, get him to do the same, then go into the Tennessee mountains and ask him to keep up.
