I would take one of them over about any Mustang made in the last 20 years. The new GT-500 but I bet Dodge will have a similar option on the Challenger. I would even prefer to have an original one even more but they are getting kind of pricey. Too bad they killed Plymouth so we can't get a 'Cuda, that would be my ultimate dream car.

Everything old is new again, pony car wars II. Ford started it in 1964 and they resurrected it with the new Mustang.

It just wouldn't be quite right, kind of like a Lincoln Couger. Somebody will probably make different grilles to make a 'Cuda clone out of a Challenger, they had some pretty good photoshops floating around when the Challenger concept first came out.

Rumor has it, at least one aftermarket company is planning a 'Cuda body kit for the new Challenger. Closer's dream car is a '71 Cuda, but he would very likely settle for an SRT8 Challenger with a Cuda body kit...

Actually, while many have suggested that, Chrysler and Plymouth were opposite ends of the spectrum. Chrysler has always been the more luxury focused cars, while Plymouth was the entry level... Plymouth was created as a way to sell cheap cars...

BTW, I still love my Plymouth!

Oh yeah! I went to the auto show her in Tampa last weekend. Talked to a guy in the Dodge display, said they should be out in April.. The first ones will be R/T and SRT with the 5.7 and 6.2 Liters... Next year they will have a V-6..

That Challenger is NICE.

I saw a commercial (or something) for the new Bullit the other day. I'm not sure what it is, but something is missing. I liked the old body style version. Maybe this one will grow on me.

there WAS a plymouth barracuda at SEMA, ill look for pics of it tomorrow unless someone posts em. People said it had the interior of a charger but they werent sure if it was a concept or private production. Either way, it looked badass. Similar to the challenger, but so much meaner looking.
