Huntin pics

Hey all, Just wanted to post some pics of my Nevada Mule deer I harvested on the last day of the season hunt. Its not huge but it sure is purdy...and tastes damn good

This is a pic of mine and my buddy's, they were both shot on the last day of the season.

Feel free to post up any of your huntin pics as well. I love to see what others have harvested.

Those are awesome, I'm more of a whitetail guy. Actually last year was my first year and I got a doe. It wasn't the biggest doe but the funny thing is I ended pu shouting it through a sapling. It was about dusk and I just didn't see it, it must have blended in with the deer. Anyway it went straight through a 2inch sapling and into the deer and just destroyed its heart and lungs. Amazingly it ran a good 50 yards afterwards, I thought I missed.

I leave next Saturday for this years hunting trip to NY state. and my Dad and I only have buck permits this year so I'm hoping thats a sign. This will be the first year I bring my truck with us so I'm hoping I can bring my first buck back with us.

Actually no. I have gotten bigger and they grow way bigger around here. I think I would get laughed at if I took it to a taxidermist around here haha. But the antlers look pretty good in my living room
heres a few pics of what comes out of where I hunt:
Archery tag

This one is my buddy's he got this year. 29 inches wide, it scored around 170:

as you can see mine doesnt measure up compared to those monsters!

thanks. we must have had a lucky weekend, because i went out yesterday and only killed 1 duck. it was horrible, too hot, no wind, no birds up and workin. We are supposed to get a nice storm later this week, so hopefully some birds will get pushed down and the hunt this weekend will be better. ill post pics of my hunt from this upcoming weekend for sure.

yesterday's hunt

we got some excellent hunting weather yesterday, lots of fog and pouring rain the whole time. It was a great shoot...

in the first picture, all those dots just off the horizon are all geese.

and the "duck truck"
