My wife and I lived in a second floor apartment for 15 years that had a ghost. He just came out of the bathroom, would walk across the kitchen and go out through the wall! He never bothered us, and we didn't bother him. I suppose he's still there. I didn't believe in ghosts before seeing him, but seeing is believing. And no, he didn't scare me. They can't hurt you.

I got some pretty sweet stories as well...

In the basement we had a toy room and one morning mom was down in the basement doing whatever and heard a bunch of racket coming from the xylephone in toy room when she finally had enough and said something along the lines of "Jesus Christ quit playing with the damn toys" and he quit lol

I also used to have a touch lamp in my room in the basement that he used to turn off and on all the time. I had a buddy over one time and we were playing Mario Go Kart for super nintendo and he knew about him playing the touch lamp and **** before, well one afternoon we were given'r and the lamp turned on. well holy **** did he jump and start screaming about how he was "in there" and he was scared for his life lol. I just walked over, shut it off and was gonna keep playing like nothing happened.

Another story that comes to mind is the smoke detectors we had in the basement. We had them all over for some reason. There were a couple about 6 feet apart from each other, the one right at the bottom of the strairs which is one of his cold spots. Well the smoke detector right at the bottom would go off at random times, and eventually dad got pissed off and replaced it with a new one. Well the new one in the same spot would like to go off as well. So dad switched the one right at the bottom of the stairs with the one that is about 6 feet away and the other one that is now at the bottom of the stairs would like to go off. and guess what, Wayne was a smoker. The smoke detector was taken down from there for good.

Before we moved into that house I was always watching the shows "Goose Bumps" and "Are you afraid of the Dark?". Those shows would give me nightnames a lot in the old house. In the 12 plus years we lived in Wayne's house I never had 1 nightmare.

I don't have too many other stories off the top of my head right now and its late. If anyone is interested I could probably post more.
Great stories, especially if they're true!!

Ghost you say?
Nope, don't believe in them but I do know the devil and his demons are out there and people confuse them as ghosts.
I experienced it several times when I was starting my walk with Christ. I saw some shadows and heard the devil's voice. They say the devil will fight for you when you turn to Christ and boy did he try...I remember what my pastor told us one Sunday, "greater is he that is in you than he who is in the world." He also stated to rebuke the devil and his demons when you feel you are being surrounded by them. When I heard the devil's voice, I prayed out loud and rebuked him out of my life and out of my house in the name "Jesus"...The Devil knows the name of Jesus and immediately left me alone.
If you let the devil scare you, he will, if you let him temp you, he will. If you stand up to him and show no fear and rebuke him in the name of Christ Jesus, he will run away.... Christ is all knowing and powerful, the devil has nothing on you, not even the sins you have asked Christ to forgive.

He knows exactly what I'm talking about.
I was in that elevator that day and that was no 'fat chick' that was my mother.
What he needs to do is admit the truth right now to everyone, it's simple
I farted and he claimed it!

We've had our differences in the past but, this time he's gone too far!

Well its the day after Holloween but I figured I would throw this out there for you guys.

My whole life I never believed in Ghosts and or spirits and to be quite honest I am not so sure I even do now. I will share this story for you to make of it what you will.

My brother passed away in June of 05, at the time his daughter was 2 months old. She is now 2 1/2. Ever since she could point at things she has been able to pick my brother out of any picture, ever since she has been able to talk she will look at pictures, point to my brother and say daddy. We always just passed it off as her knowing who he was due to us showing her pictures of him. About 2 weeks ago my sister called me and asked if I had ever told the baby anything about the way my brother died. I guess to understand this you have to know how he passed. He was in their house standing where the kitchen and den meet, my niece was sitting in her swing about 10' away. He bent over to pick something up and when he stood up he collapsed, bumping his head on the counter and fell onto the floor, he had a heart attack and subsiquintly died from it. So about 2 weeks ago(which was also about 2 or 3 days before what would have been my brothers 35th b-day) my sister and niece were standing in the kitchen almost in the same spot where my brother died, my niece looked at my sister and told her "daddy bumped his head and fell asleep, I couldn't wake him up" Now I am no doctor or specialist on children but I find it very hard to believe that a 2 month old would remember that enough to be able to tell my sister what she told her. My sister talked to everyone who has access to my niece and knew the details of my brothers death, none of them ever told her that.

Now do I believe in ghosts that conciously do things and function as if they were here only trapped in the middle of two worlds, not really, do I think that there is a possibility that something or some form of energy from our living selves could remain once we are gone...possibly.

Apparently Raoul leaves some potent energy behind as well

Serially though, sad story about your bro, and I think along the same lines as you in regards to ghosts. I don't rule anything out.
