Multi-Tools

Just wondering what type of multi-tools that you all use. I ue a Gerber Multi-Plier 600. What do you all prefer? Leatherman---or what else?

I carried a Kershaw multi tool for a while. It's a really neat and high quality piece, but it's kinda bulky. I don't use/wear it every day anymore, but it goes with me when I'm out in the woods.

I teach, but I have a "part-time" job (many hours, but not my full-time job) working on a large produce farm. When I am working (summers, and this time of year I work a great deal after school for the pumpkins and such) I use it almost everyday.

i used to carry a gerber when i worked construction/mechanics/maintenance jobs...i still have it, although both flat head screwdriver tips have broken off...don't know the model, but it's really a great tool--i like the slide-and-lock action for one-handed opening over the 'butterfly knife' design of the leatherman ones

I used to have a leatherman when I was in the Army, but have lost it since. Been trying to find the original version but haven't been able to.

I want a Leatherman. But currently I use my Victorinox Firemans knife for just about any outdoorsy things like hunting, fishing etc.

This is the Victorinox Firemans knife i have.

I have one that is just ok. The one I got for my father is designed much better. Can't remember the name but the key feature IMO was the fact that you could access the tools without opening the plyers function first.

I always find that opening the plyers function just to get to a screw driver tip was bad design and made the tool less flexible.

I've had the same Leatherman for about twenty years.
They sure have changed.

In my day, a man wouldn't own nothin that would allow him to give himself a pedicure.

And that's the way it was.
AND THAT'S THE WAY WE LIKED IT!
