I love this time of year, not too hot and not too cold. Anything around 55-60 is nice.
Word.
The temp readout spit out 54 degrees on the OHC on the way home tonight.
I just hope it's not too windy this weekend when I am back at work Friday -Monday nights.
For some reason I like driving home at ~6PM when it's dark. Well, until I remember that traffic is still just as lousy as it is before the time changeover and my truck seems to have a target on it that people have failed to hit (literally) the last few days. Other than those brats kids that nailed the passenger side A-pillar with an egg, that is...but, I got the cops on 'em.
I'm just happy to be able to turn off the central A/C and finally open the windows by THE END OF OCTOBER!!... LOL, 'bout damn time it cooled off from the 90's..
Though the utility company here (they always say conserve conserve conserve, right?), they say since the summer was cooler than normal they have no choice but to raise the rates since we didn't spend as much..
Talk about some mealy-mouthed motherf*$kers!!

We also have a PO Box for getting stuff off ebay. 2-3 day delivery there vs 14-20 days to here. My wife buys 90% of our groceries at the Boundary store in Bonners. We love living this close to the border.

That's cool WMR. The old drive in still has the screen standing but it's surrounded by a cherry orchard now.I live about a mile from it.
Just to stay on topic, it's 4c/40f here right now. Might have to put on a long sleeve shirt when I leave for work. We're supposed to get our first light freeze tomorrow night.

I know what you mean Z, I dont miss mid-Missouri winters at all. I remember walking to 8:00am classes with 15" of snow on the ground and the wind blowing a wind chill of about 20 below 0.
Now at Mississippi State...no more of that s#it, just lots of rain
