I am personally not a big fan of unions...dont believe in them. So.....I havent entered their thread.

I'm not sure where "wasting time" came from, those are your words, but let's use them.

If the How to get to Heaven thread was an actual debate about "is there a God?" that would be one thing. But that thread is anything but a debate. Debating one of the most philosophical of questions doesn't entail the type of behaviour exhibited in that thread. What is happening in that thread are personal attacks and rabid and close minded proclamations that allow no room for debate. So in that sense, you would be correct, it's a waste of time.

Like I said, this clock/counter clock thread answers those threads. There is no right or wrong way of seeing the subject. I'm not wasting time pointing that out. It was worth pointing out. Whether anyone hears me or not is up to each person.

IE Rorschach ink blots tests.... I always fail.
Me: What do I see? I see a mess......
Them: How bout this one?
Me: Another mess. Why'd you keep spilling ink?
Them: This one?
Me: Mess.... Are you that clumsey?
Them: This one?
Me: Mess.... Why do you have ink bottles still?
General topic:
Humans, by their nature are drawn to faces. It is natural to want have someone facing you (eye contact is always primary). Anyway, wanting to see the front is natural and when your mind starts with that assumption and sees the shadow moving from right to left, when your brain ties that with forward facing, you see clockwise.

For Matt specifically:
By the way, the ink blots is a two way street. The tests interpretations of your interpretations are BS. Those are projections of the morons who dreamt the thing up. However, seeing something in them isn't anything more than imagination, which you have demonstrated in the past as having. So your fighting allowing your imagination to be active during the test says a lot about your problems with authority figures. In other words, loosen up.

Yes I know and despite my own conscious efforts it's only gotten worse in recent years.
I despise authority, I must be atleast equal, no one can be above me, they can be eqaul or next to me, but not above.
Even in traffic I can't stand to follow anyone very long, It's almost OC I have got to pass them and be in the lead, even if it means risking my life. It's pathetic really.

Commercial break for Boston Legal so I can type

Hi Rose. Hope all is well. Missed you too. (As for being missed by anyone else here, I rather doubt it.) But look quick because aside from this thread I can't see posting much here.

I stopped visiting here because the atmosphere degraded to the point of being . . . I guess awful is a polite way to put it. I've lurked a few times to see if things had improved but sadly it seems to have become worse over time, not better.

I chose to post in this thread because it summed up perfectly what I've witnessed happening on this board lately. A lot of people expressing how they see something - only for the most part in other threads on this board many people have been obnoxious and contentious over how they see something. This little optical illusion shows that how we see things are right and correct for us but may not be viewed that way by others. Neither is more correct than the other, it's just how you see it.

If I remember correctly, someone wrote that the forum seems to have been taken over by kids who got their hands on keyboards . . . I might add that it appears to be taken over by petulant little brats who redefine close-mindedness. Sad.

As for me, I'm moving to the great middle-of-nowhere two weeks from today. And yes, winter is coming (although my freinds out in the hinterland inform me it has been quite warm and the possibility of snow is weak at best . . . darn it!).

:santa:

By the way, check out the new Kobijet™

We took it to St. Martin and got busted for coming in a bit lower than allowed over the beach.

(Yes, just kidding)

It's based on the Kobi Kountry™ sig I had back in the day.

Take care.

Well it is that "one thing." Frodos thread was posted to start the debate. 800 replies, and 9,000 views are a testement to its effectiveness. There are attacks, but there are some very well thought out points if you look for them. You seem to want perfection in a world that it rarely seems to exist.

All is well here, thank you. How are things with you?

I rather have to agree that the boards have been less than stellar these past few months. We have lots of youngsters who are trying desperately to prove themselves and then we have some that are just plain weird! Unfortunately we're losing all our older members over it. Zap only visits once in a while, Vader has become scarce, BREWDUDE is practically non-existent and 04RedLariat has disappeared. It makes me sad I love this site because of the unique people I have come to know as my friends, I don't like to think of them all gone.

I'm glad you chose to peek in and say howdy. I do miss you and look forward to your posts. Come back now and then, if only to say "HI" to those of us who are too tenacious to let go.

Best of luck to you in the hinterland. I'll think about you when the snow starts flying!

By the way...I love the jet...when are you coming to pick me up for a short around the world flight??

this an F150 forum not a philosophical forum or a religious forum or even a political debate forum. We drive trucks, get drunk, go hunting, mudding etc. You cant expect intellectual conversations here all the time.

Yin, Yang.
Black, White.
Good, Evil.
Me, the sadistic temptress who was my last girlfriend.
Coors, Budweiser.
Clockwise, Counter-Clockwise.

It all evens out.

So much of life is a matter of perception. Do you perceive it because it exists, or does it exist because you perceive it?

Does it matter?
Do you really even care?
Do you just like to argue?

Honestly, I enjoy the argument

I love ya Rose....I'm here but like K, just lurking most of the time.

I was just about to email Kobi and see how frontier land was coming. Guessing I don't need to now.

Now if I could get Brewdude to respond once in a while it'd be nice.

Some of you are on something! She jumps in the air and continues going around clockwise over and over, regardless of how I look. Over my shoulder, between my legs or whatever.
