You stand up for yourselfs????

I thought you guys said thats why you like the union becasue it stands up for you?

If the sitution or conditions don't meet your requirments.... why not take your training you recived and use it to help the competition?

I just dont understand the victim mentality.

The union fights for what we tell them to. We are the union.

As far as the victim mentality, those in non union shops are the victims, not us.

So you are a victim, of your own circumstance.

No I am happy with my company, the yare good to us and dont try to screw us..... Along with previous non union companies as well, all have had an open dorr policy, if by chance I or anyone has or had a problem I or anyone would go talk to the boss man ot man, or man to woman, or woman to man, "which ever the case maybe", and if we can't resolve the issue, then we shake hands and part ways... same thing a union does, except I have enough merit and back bone to do it myslef, no victim here.

I'd never be trapped in a company I didnt like or trust, thats a victim......

Employment is nothing more than a business agreement between you and a company. A business agreement has to be mutually beneficial. If it is not then either party should and can terminate the agreement unless contractually bound. So that means that if at any point you fail to meet thier expectations, they should terminate the agreement with you..... If at any point they fail to meet your expectations, then again you should terminate the agreement with them.

I guess it's really the difference between sheeple who have to follow someone and leaders.

Sheeple would indeed need a union to heard together and the union would give them someone to follow.

It's obvious to me you don't know how a union works. The members make the union, the union doesn't make us. We are the leaders of the union.

I bet you still can't comprehend that concept, and that amuses me.

Good concept, but it's no different at a union shop.

You and your congrigation trust your pastor?
You have deacons who decide what is best for your church?

Now, you explain the difference between union sheep, and religious sheep..

Sounds to me like your stuck in a contradiction in terms.

Please tell me you don't base your view on unions based on high school experiences.

I worked my way through highschool from a junior at a union job.... THEN after I graduated..... I moved to a full time job, totally different company and totally different industry, but had the same union (different local) where I spent the next 8 years there.
