Should We Be Kind Of Afraid?

Try to guess who said these pearls of wisdom:

"My job is a decision-making job, and as a result, I make a lot of decisions."

"As yesterday's positive report card shows, childrens do learn when standards are high and results are measured."

"I feel strongly that there ought to be fair justice."

"I heard somebody say, 'Where's (Nelson) Mandela?' Well, Mandela's dead. Because Saddam killed all the Mandelas."

"Mr. Prime Minister, thank you for your introduction. Thank you for being such a fine host for the OPEC summit." --George W. Bush, addressing Australian Prime Minister John Howard at the APEC Summit, Sept. 7, 2007

"As John Howard accurately noted when he went to thank the Austrian troops there last year..." --George W. Bush, referring to Australian troops as "Austrian troops," APEC Business Summit, Sept. 7, 2007

"More than two decades later, it is hard to imagine the Revolutionary War coming out any other way."

"These are big achievements for this country, and the people of Bulgaria ought to be proud of the achievements that they have achieved."

You may be correct in saying that Hilary is hiding something about her aganda. I also feel it is safe to say Bush ain't hidin' nothin' when it comes to his ability to articulate the English language.

Come on now. I'm not saying he isn't an idiot and we all know he's a terrible public speaker but...

Anybody can be made to sound like a moron when quoted out of context and I'd bet money half of those are examples of exactly that.

Besides, he keeps giving me pay raises. So, as long as 20 miles off the coast is as close as I have to get to Iraq, I'm not going to complain about his lack of mastery of the english language.

The sweet talkers are far more scary than bad public speakers.
