Smoke Wrench

I had 2 opportunities to use my welding machine in the past couple of weeks. Been a lot of fun. Its a lincoln 175 mig which is a 220v machine. Basically the biggest one that lowes sells. I use the argon/co2 sheilding gas. Dont know how it compares to a really good machine, but no troubles out of it. Had it for a few years. Not even more than a couple of hours of use, though.

BTW I was welding a pulley on a lawn tractor. The splines wore off and I welded the pulley to the retaining nut as close to center as I could get it. If the rotation is in the tightening direction it should work for a while.

Just remember to unhook the battery if you ever weld on your truck.
