My season is about over. I'm heading down to south east Alaska on the 24th to go mountain goat hunting which might be the last hunt of the year for me.
I started early this year getting a wolf in January...

Then I scored on a grizzly bowhunt in late May. I shot this 6 foot arctic grizzly from 11 yards. One shot and she was down in 65 yards...

Then in June I did some fishing...

In July I did a quick bowhunt for caribou and managed to get one with a 46" wide spreads...

Then in August we went out on an extended rifle hunt and got a couple more. I helped this guy get a nice bull, and I shot a smaller bull (no picture) on a proxy tag...

Then on October 2nd I filled another tag with a cow caribou...

I also managed to fill my antlerless moose tag on September 15th. I shot a cow that was being escorted by a few bulls. The bigger bull wasn't legal as we were hunting a 50" or 3 or more brow tine area. He was a high 40" bull with 2 brow tines on each side. There was a fork antlered bull hanging out in there, so my brother took him down.
Pretty good year all in all, but hopefully I can ice the cake with a nice long haired billy in a few weeks. I'll be taking the 300 win mag on that hunt. I also have a fresh brown bear tag, and when we flew the area to scout we saw a large brownie in there.
Good luck on your seasons!

Very little hunting for me this year
I just moved to MT this spring and I don't have residency for hunting permits until the last week of November. This also means I lost residency in my home state of ND. But on the 25th I'm heading home for a few days to go pheasant hunting. I'll just have to suck it up and buy the non-resident permit. I can't wait, it sounds like its going to be an awesome year for birds.
