How can you just forget someone in a CT scanner??
How can you just forget someone in a CT scanner??

Story
So it's not the first time it's happened but they're only just now going to change their closing procedures?? Sheesh
Yea, way to try and cover your asses on that one!
Story
A physician who works at the practice and knew of the incident told The Arizona Daily Star it’s not the first time such a thing has happened.
Ted Eazer, practice director for Arizona Oncology Associates, said Friday that the group has revised its closing procedures so no one is ever left behind in an office again. A sweep of the facilities will be done and a written checklist followed.
Eazer said Ketchel was referring to incidents in other facilities, and that a patient had never before been left behind at Arizona Oncology clinics.

I had a scan years ago and that was my biggest fear.
I'm a big guy and the one I was in was tight.
I was in up to my ankles and there was like two inches between my nose and the top. My shoulders brushed each side. I couldn't lift my head enough to see out of the hole they put me in. It was like I was waiting to get birthed, feet first.
I never thought I was claustrophobic but the confinement and noise wears on you after a while.
No way I coulda wiggled out of the one I was in.
Plus they gave me a shot of some kind of dye I guess it was supposed to go in my vein but she missed. My arm started aching like I'd been beat with a bat. When I told her about it she said 'Oops.'
I've been told there are larger ones that are pretty comfortable...damn HMOs!
