Suggestions on a new camcorder
I am looking at buying a new camcorder to mainly record my step-son's wrestling matches. I have a budget of roughly $500.00 and I'm looking at the ones that record motion to a dvd and stills to a stick/card.
Couple of questions:
For the people that have ones that record to a 3" dvd. Are there limitations to what type of dvd player you can play it in? I'm trying to figure out how a front feed dvd player can suck in a 3" dvd and play it. Our main reason with going with a dvd camcorder is being able to just pop the disc out and pop it a dvd player so everyone can watch it. Also, I could catalog the dvd's by match for him to watch later.
Any other draw backs? I understand a dual layer 3" dvd can record about 110 minutes depending on settings. That would be plenty. There are so many options my head is spinning.
