Oklahoma coach explodes...

Im sure you've all seen the video by now about the Oklahoma coach exploding on the press for a bad article. Does anyone have a link to the article? I want to read it. He was on the press like dogs on fresh meat, kudos to him. I tried to google but got like 193812038120938192 pages of crap. Thanks

Good for him. I saw the news conference on ESPN. Sticking up for his students.

Agreed 200%. The bad thing is that he'll probably get disciplined or, even worse, dismissed over it. Has OSU released anything 'officially' regarding this thing?

No clue but he earned 123812309128302 man points for it. A lot of coaches would just sit back and protect themselves rather than defend their players.

Not a chance .. the AD has been very supportive ..

the only people that haven't been are some of the print media. Too busy defending one of their own to understand how bad that article was.

For those of you that read the article and didn't think it was that bad .. What if, prior to reading it, you already knew the following:

- the author did not attend the game @ Troy, so there is no way she witnessed the events she talked about first hand.

- Bobby wasn't fed fried chicken after the game by his mother..1. the after game box meal was NOT chicken .. 2. Bobby's mother didn't feed him, she handed him a box of food, just like several other parents handed their kids a box of food.

Jenni didn't know that because she wasn't there.

This article was published on Game Day, on the front page of the sports section, above the fold, simply as retaliation directed towards a coaching staff that locked the media out of practice since two weeks before school started.

- NONE of the quotes from Bobby Reid in that article were given to the author. They were pulled from other various articles over the last couple of weeks, yet Jenni made several comments in the article about observing Bobby's body language while he answered the question .. How did she do that?? she wasn't in the fricking room when the questions were asked.

-- sorry for the rant .. LOL .. I just happen to bleed Orange .. LOL

Jenni Carlson, the author of the article, is a hack. plain and simple..

The Daily Oklahoman is one of the worst papers in the country, and was actually named THE worst a few years ago by the Northwestern School of Journalism.

It is also owned by the ********.. the same ******** that are the biggest boosters of the Oklahoma Sooners, whose football stadium bears their name. The Paper has had an anti Oklahoma State agenda for years. This was 25 years of Gundy's frustration with a piece of crap newspaper coming out at once ..

In my opinion, he was way too nice about it.

It's great to see a coach stand up for his kids. I thought he did a great job of expressing himself without going ballistic.
