I'd like to build a C2D rig one of these days. I went with an Opteron for my last build, and I kick myself all the time for letting my AMD fanboyism get the best of me.

If you're being serious: That was a Back to the Future reference.
If you're just messing with him: Carry on, nothing to see here.

I was thinking the same thing shroomie. 1.21 gigawatts was the amount of power in order to send the delorean back in to the future.

I was wondering why you went with the 7950. Still an amazing rig, though.

holy rats nest batman!!!. I'm waiting till the 8800ultras are under 350 to switch to dx10. the 7950gx2 doesn't totally suck, I can run HL2, fear, farcray, prey and such with everything maxed @ 1680x1050. the only games I havnt been able to run maxed is flight sim and stalker. my computer doesn't like stalker with hdr.. even if I force AA off... sure beats the 2800xp 5900xt machine I was on before

Water cooling is so, so 19th century. lol. Reminds me of houses with those big old radiators & boilers.

Pelletier Effect cooling is where it's at.

Y'know, I never I've understand the fetish with frame rates, when we can't perceive anything faster than ~30fps anyway.... seems like wasted resources better spent on improving colour depth, resolution & rendering.

Good for bragging rights, though.

(Styx - that linky I sent - looky all the room for blinky lights in that puppy!)

Yeah - looks sorta like a spool, eh?

Them things run real hot, overclocked or not.

Purty thang, for sure.
