Whose got pipes?

If you decided to bolt some sound onto you F-150, what kind of set-up are you using?
In the past, I've usually slapped on a set of Flow-masters (I know they're loud) or Borla's (Loud at start-up, but a little more civil on the highway).
What kind of pipes (exhaust) is on your ride?

2.25 true duals off the stock cats into 2 2.25 in/out Thrush Magnum glasspacks. I have it going out the rear to each side of the receiver with 2 3.5" x 18" long Magnaflow slash cut tips.
My Ranger has a rather strange mix and match of 2" pipe that I have found with a single Thrush glasspack, this fall it will be replaced with the rather pristine 2.5" exhaust I took off my F-150. Probably too big but it is cheap and until the V-8 goes in and it gets a set of 2.25" duals of its own it will work fine.

2" true duals off my 4.6's converters with 4" slash cut tips under the back bumper. No mufflers.
When the motor is warm and the pipes cool off after like 2 hours, starting it up and driving off sounds like a Nascar.

I met a guy and his family in Alexandria, LA one weekend. My family and I were getting in my truck (2003 Expedition), he and his family were getting in theirs (Chevy Sliverado, extended cab- conversion). I hadn't cranked mine yet, but he cranked up right away, and that joker sounded mean. it got my attention.
So, I had to ask him what he was running on that thing. He said, "Straight duals, no cats, no mufflers (LA doesn't do emmissions tests). I said, "No catalytic converter?" laughingly he said, "I live in the country, ain't nobody checking my truck for emissions!" even his wife laughed at that.
It might have been a Chevy, but it was a darn-good-sounding Chevy.

And duals... So, it's good.Nah, the SI/DO I'm considering is for the truck.
I can get the flowmaster set, with two 18" long, 3" dia. stainless steel tips, installed w/lifetime warranty for $280.00.
The same deal for Borla is $360.00. I've "piped" my last four trucks, but didn't do this one...
I haven't really done anything to it, but tint the windows... It's not nearly as "hooked" as I had our 2001.
Everything I want to do to it, costs hundreds of dollars. Before we had a baby, I could just do it. Now, with baby, and tuition- I have to get a lot of stuff approved by HQ.
At $930, I know the tonneau is off the agenda, but maybe I can catch her at Dillards and get my pipes installed!

Baby, they followed me home... Can I keep 'em?

I've read many different power ratings for the 4.6L, so I don't know what it really has. 222 HP or 239 HP.
I hope it's 239...

My F150 has 3" pipe off the converter to a FlowMaster 50, and then a 3" pipe out behind the rear wheel. The engine is a 5.4L, and sounds like a modified Mustang. I've had people ask me what kind of exhaust I have because it sounds really good. I went with a single 3" all the way rather than duals. My daily driver has the factory exhaust on it (single also). At idle, or light acceleration it is quiet. If you jump on it, the 400hp Corvette motor (TrailBlazer SS) roars.

I think it would have looked ever nicer with the roof rack on it, but every one I've seen has been without the roof racks.
To me, an SUV (any SUV) without the roof racks, becomes a van.
