It's late, I'm tired, so I'll say more tomorrow morning.

But for now, all I got to say about Wyotech, UTI, NADC, etc...don't believe any of the garbage those guys tell you (no, you won't make $100,000 your first year or two out of school unless you're a liar and a thief).

Before I went and did/doing the college route I was going to go to wyotech. I had applied, they interviewed me, and got accpeted. I had my roommate class pretty much everything. Then I went and did the college thing instead. Its a great school it won't make you a master mechanic but will make you a good one. If you want to go into the mechanic field its probably the best school around.

yeah they will teach you about everything you need to know, but yo uhave to be able to catch on, and have common sense, and have a basic know how before going there, or you wont get any of it im sure.

Why not NASCAR tech school? Plenty of jobs in that field. Plenty of shops hire strait out of school. I'm pretty sure it's a wyo-tech or ITT field but it's valuable experience that would look awesome on any resume.

i have a very good understanding of mechanics. i do all of the maintenance and repairs, associated with the engine on my vehicles. i just want to learn how to "make" horsepower and torque. i plan on building a drag car, and would like to build the motor myself. just want to make the most of it.
