Ebay rocks!

Well to start things off I crumbled the front end of my buick...

Needed:

hood
grill
front bumper cover
bumper moldings X2
right headlight
headlight mount

So with a budget I looked at what I could get through my discount at the garage... way too much to even say...

Went on the internet and checked out the online parts stores... $620 shipped... not bad...

Well I spent about an hour on ebay after that looking around just to see...

I ended up getting everything I needed for $383 shipped to my door...

There really isn't a better way to conduct business I'm thinking...

I love eBay, I've spent countless hours and unknown $$ amounts on there!

Not to be a wet blanket, but have you received all your parts? Are they the right ones and in the condition you thought?

You are such a damn wet blanket!!!!

Nah, I've gotten everything I've ordered from ebay in the condition that was advertised with the exception of one... which I ended up getting my money back for so I really can't say anything bad about it.

I'll post pictures of the buick that took a 2MPH hit to the front-end when I start putting everything on.

I must say, I've had nothing but good luck on eBay. I've had a couple of shipping issues that were not the fault of the seller, and I've had some shipping issues as a seller, but that's no fault of eBay.

Knock on wood, I hope any future transactions remain the same.

Sorry you've had bad experiences with eBay Jamz. The only time I ever had an issue was a book I bought that never arrived. After a few extra days of waiting for it, the seller sent me a replacement book, no questions asked! Needless to say I left her glowing positive feedback! When I'm looking at an item, one of the first things I look at is the sellers feedback, depending on the value of the item I won't even bid if their feedback is under a certain amount and I never bid if their positive feedback is under about 97%. I've spent well over $1000 on eBay over the last 7-8 years and only had the one little issue. In fact I just bought 7 books off eBay yesterday

I buy lots of stuff off ebay. Tools mostly but sometimes fishing gear. Has anyone here ever bought a vehicle off ebay? I ask because a friend at work is considering it.
