A Presario is a Compaq, not a Gateway - check again, please?

What happens when you highlight the network and click on the Connect button?

When you get a chance, get the model of it, I'll go see if I can find the drivers for the network card that came with it. Worse case scenario you may have to get a PCMCIA wireless card.

Click here for your Presario 802.11b drivers.

Thank you, please drive through.

EDIT: I know that one says for AMD, but I double checked and all operating systems and processor types point to the same download.

You may want to check device manager and see if the wireless adapter is there with no yellow or red flags. Control panel, system, hardware, device manager. Look under network adapters.

2100 doesnt tell much, there are over 300 models of the 2100 series.

Does yours have the built in wireless?

If so do you have the button pushed turning teh wireless on?

I know it's a dumb question but, we can hope.
