Most of us know someone who "knows someone" or is related to someone who "knows someone" who won a big prize.
I've never heard of anyone getting hit by lightning.
As a matter of fact, I think if you do get hit by lightning, (and live), the government should give you 5M of tax money as your "I got hit by lightning" prize award. HAHA (I mean, they **** away so many zillions on useless crap, why not make some regular joes life better?)
Cuz it would be a crying shame to get struck by lightning, but never win the lotto - hence the 5M prize.

I was driving my cab a few weeks ago when I heard an interesting story. (cabbies are like bartendersd in a way, you hear everyone's story)
This dude I picked up, he was kind of a skid, he was telling me how his bro won 250k on a lotto, and only gave him 20k. The guy was bitter, literally full of hate towards his brother.
So I ask him why he's mad that his bro gave him 20k, he says "if I won, I woulda give him half"
What a shlep, guy is given 20 grand for nothin, and he's bitchin about it. I'd do cartwheels if my bro handed me 20 grand.
Money fks people up, but it's worse when they are stupid to begin with, messes them up 10x worse. Man it makes me happy to have my perspective.

Besides 250K is nice but not alot to like retire on or anything, I would need atleast 6x that to even consider retireng and then would only be the same quality of life I live now. Same house, little traveling, only difference would be I wouldnt be going to work. I'd have to find something cheap to take up my time.
I would rather them invest it, build a business on it, then maybe 5-10 years hire me at some insane salary for doing nothing, with unlimited vacation days and hire somebody else "non family" for less money, to do my job...
