A friend of mine has been talking about getting one lately. Not a new one, but the previous body style. Says if he can find a clean one for around $35K he might pick one up.

I would love to have one, but I'm just not sure how easy they are to drive... Vettes are cool, but are a bit of a challenge to get in/out especially if you park close to anything...

Just curious if anyone has one, and how good they are for daily driving type cruising...

I think I'll stick with the Cobra plan... The wife even mentioned it over the weekend. She wants me to get the Cobra too.

 

i love the previous style vipers, yeah the new ones are nice cuz, well theyre new. But something about that last style always caught your eye, the new ones not so much.

 

They were never known for their interior quality or ride quality. I know on the new Vipers handeling was an issue, and you feet got hot because of were the exhaust was located, but that is on the NEW SRT-10's. Sounds like your looking at the older R/T, GTS's.

Edit: But they do haul ***. I would say ask another forum would be your best bet, some forum that's not too biased.

 

the brand new 08 model vipers coming out look like they are gonna be great. but forget about the older body vipers IMO. I would much rather have an 03+ Cobra.
